Kolton Hewlett joined Cass Health in November 2021 as Chief Human Resources Officer. In 2024, he also assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he provides leadership for accounting and finance, billing and coding, care coordination, compliance, community wellness, educational services, emergency preparedness, environmental services, food services, foundation, human resources, marketing and communications, materials management, medical records, medical staff services, patient financial services, performance improvement, plant operations, public health, risk management, service excellence, and volunteer services.

Kolton holds a Bachelor of Science in healthcare administration and a Master of Business Administration in organizational development. He is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC), and Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).

Kolton is a member of several professional organizations including the past president of the Iowa Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ISHHRA). He is active with the Iowa Hospital Association, serving on the Council for Education and Member Services and the Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee.

Living in Cass County since 2017, Kolton is active in various community groups, including the Cass County Master Gardeners, the Atlantic Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, the Atlantic Produce in the Park Board of Directors, and Healthy Cass County.
